Airworthiness Directives; Robinson Helicopter Company Helicopters

AD 2024-11610 Published 2024-06-27 2 models 679 US-registered tails affected Federal Register ↗

Abstract

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Robinson Helicopter Company Model R44 and R44 II helicopters. This proposed AD was prompted by several reports of failed clutch actuators and failed rivets attaching the belt tension clutch actuator brackets (bracket) to the fan scroll housing. This proposed AD would require inspecting each bracket and, depending on the results, accomplishing additional inspections or taking any necessary corrective actions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Applicability

Aircraft makes and models this AD applies to, sorted by US-registered fleet size.
