Abstract

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of missing or damaged inboard flap seal plate assemblies. This AD requires repetitive inspections for cracks of the attaching angles of the inboard flap seal plates and replacement. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

SUMMARY: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of missing or damaged inboard flap seal plate assemblies. This AD requires repetitive inspections for cracks of the attaching angles of the inboard flap seal plates and replacement. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

DATES: This AD is effective January 6, 2025. The Director of the Federal Register approved the incorporation by reference of certain publications listed in this AD as of January 6, 2025.
