What is ASRS?
The Aviation Safety Reporting System is NASA's voluntary, confidential, non- punitive incident-reporting system, established 1976. Pilots, controllers, dispatchers, and maintenance technicians file reports describing safety- relevant events. NASA de-identifies every report before adding it to the public database. Reports are not investigated by NASA, the FAA, or the NTSB — they represent the reporter's perspective.

At cruise flight we experienced a right engine failure. Immediate troubleshooting was begun. Using flows and backup with our checklist. CRM was used as one pilot was flying and the other was running checklist and working the radio. We were unable to restart the engine and proceeded to feather and secure the engine. We decided to continue our flight to ZZZZ where we know we had emergency personnel to assist as well as mechanics. After aircraft examination on the ground, it was determined that the engine shut down due to fuel starvation caused by a fuel line leak during flight. A thorough preflight and walk around was conducted prior to departure. Fuel sumps were drained and both tanks were verified full. Oil was withing engine acceptable level. A thorough run up was performed with no indication that the aircraft was unsafe.
