About

ADK Flying Club, Inc. is a member-owned, non-profit flying club operating out of the Saratoga County NY Airport (5B2). We are 50 pilot members committed to safe, affordable flying in the beautiful Capital District/Adirondack region of upstate NY. Our current fleet consists of 5 aircraft from a Cherokee 140, Warrior 160, Cessna 172, Cherokee 180, and a newer, all-glass Cessna 182. All aircraft are IFR capable and are meticulously maintained on-field by a licensed FAA A&P mechanic. Our members range from professional airline, cargo, and fractional jet ATP pilots to high school students and everything in-between--all sharing a passion for flying. Several members are also CFI's and can offer basic and advanced instruction on a private basis ( we are a Club and not a Flight School) Saratoga Airport is a small uncontrolled airport which offers big field amenities. In addition to the iconic town of Saratoga, the scenic beauty of the Adirondack region and lakes as well as a multitude of small paved and grass strips to explore, our on-field amenities include Jet-A and 100LL, a new terminal nearing completion, an active Glider Club, a fixed wing and helicopter flight schools, tail dragger and TAA endorsement training and much more!
