Feb. 8, 2026 Downwind Flying Club has closed. Main reason?––uncertain local/national economy in the current stressed national infrastructure, which includes expensive insurance and access to capital. The major goal in our business plan was to keep GA flying as affordable as possible. When that was no longer possible with limited resources we had no other choice. To avoid high interest debt, you may have to spread your training over a longer timeline. MOSAIC should help to get that first certificate Sport Pilot in your pocket to start logging PIC time. Remember perseverance is a virtue. Keep at it and you'll witness what looks like locked windows and doors open to achieve your flying dreams.
