About
The Memphis Soaring Society is a nonprofit corporation, organized under the laws of the State of Tennessee as an organization to promote the art, science and sport of motorless flight. We receive support from the Mid-South Soaring Foundation, Inc., which the IRS has approved as a 501-C-3 organization. Membership is required to utilize any club aircraft or facilities. A one day membership is available for individuals who are interested in the sport. The cost is $50.00 and includes one flight in one of our two place gliders.
