Our flying club is a glider club.. The Northern California Soaring Association, based in Byron. Many power pilots join our club to learn to fly gliders and soar, often long distances, depending on the weather. Starting with an Introductory glider flight, members get a feel for the club and see how they like flying without power, learn how to find and use lift instead of an engine.
