NRV Flyers owns and operates a well equipped 1974 Mooney Ranger (M20C) hangered at KPSK. Shareholders of the corporation operate N7117V for local flying, flight training, and short and extended cross-country flying. NRV Flyers operated as an informal flying club from KPSK more than 10 years before incorporating in 2013. In 2013, five club members established the corporation in order to ensure continued long-term operation of the club with a well-equipped IFR aircraft, ensure equal investment in the aircraft, and to facilitate transfer of ownership as members join or leave the club from time to time. Members of the club have owned and operated the Ranger for more than 10 years. N7117V is a 180hp short-body Mooney with electric gear and flaps. Upgrades include a J-model cowl, windscreen, and wingtips. The IFR panel includes a WAAS enabled GNS530, second nav/com, and G3 Insight Engine Monitor. Recent major maintenance includes fuel tank strip/reseal in 2015, new Hartzell Scimitar prop in 2014, and engine overhaul in 2013. NRV Flyers is currently seeking a new shareholder to take the place of an owner who has decided to retire from flying. Shareholders should have at least 200hrs flight experience, instrument rating preferred, and an interest in actively maintaining the aircraft in top condition (to include owner-assisted maintenance). Current Rates: - Quarterly Fixed Cost (hanger, insurance, taxes): $350 per shareholder - Hourly Operating Cost (fuel, maintenance, engine reserve) - $100 per tach hour, wet - Corporate Shares - based on market value of the club assets
