About
Founded in 1973 as a nonprofit, Skypark Aero Club offers affordable flying opportunities, with reasonable hourly rates and modest monthly dues. Our club is committed to sharing the passion and enjoyment of aviation, building camaraderie, and supporting members in becoming better pilots. The Club owns one airplane, an IFR equipped Piper Archer II based at the Piqua Ohio airport (I17). Club members reserve the airplane online on a first-come, first served basis. The hourly rate includes all operating costs (fuel, oil, maintenance). Membership dues include an equal share of monthly costs for fixed expenses (hangar rent, insurance, annual inspection). There is a small membership deposit required - refunded should you ever want to leave the club - and a nominal initiation fee. Monthly meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
