The purpose of the Springfield Flying Club, since its inception in the early 1960's is to promote and encourage private flying for recreation & pleasure. We also promote safety in flying by encouraging members to improve their flying skills. The club owns both planes - - we have no debt. We carry our own insurance, so renters insurance is not required. We have an easy reservation system accessible via the internet or touchtone telephone.
