About

The Flying Neutrons is a member-owned, non-profit flying club located in the Cincinnati Area at the Warren County Airport (I68) and has been in existence since 1952, dedicated to providing safe and low-cost flying. Our fleet consists of three Cessna 172s, two Cessna 182s, and a Cessna 206. All aircraft are hangered and have IFR-certified Garmin GPS with WAAS and dual Garmin G5s. We also have an IFR-certified PCATD. We offer flight training to our members with our well-equipped aircraft at $15 -$30 an hour below typical commercial rates. Whether you are a seasoned pilot or just starting out, we have something to offer. We have over 15 club-approved, FAA-certified flight instructors in our membership who actively instruct as independent contractors. They have many years of experience and instruct for the love of flying. The membership supports local high school students interested in aviation careers by providing partial scholarships toward their PPL. We have monthly club meetings for governance and operations starting with a grill-out to get to know fellow pilots, and we conduct monthly safety meetings and ground schools to maintain safety awareness and camaraderie. Members gather for a semi-annual aircraft wash-and-wax, and we occasionally fly together on breakfast runs when the weather and time permits. You can almost always find someone just hanging around the clubhouse on a nice afternoon.
