About
The U of D Flyinb Club is a non-equity club flying a 1977 Cessna 177B fixed gear Cardinal, 180 HP Lycoming with Constant Speed Prop, and IFR equipped with Avidyne IFD 440 and ADS-B In/Out. Club is currently at 6 active flying members, and is looking for 2 - 3 more members. This will keep the scheduling load to where there is fair access to the plane. We have a Club dinner once a year, and try to have at least 3 additional activities (e.g., wash & wax with cookout.) Initiation fee is $800, 50% refundable if member was in the Club less than 6 months and flew less than 6 hours. Dues are $130/month, and flight time cost is $86/hour DRY. Can take the plane overnight, but must guarantee payment for the greater of 1 hour flight time or actual flight time time each day the plane is away from base.
