About
Founded in 1954, the Travis Aero Club has provided flight training and aircraft rentals for the members of Team Travis for over 55 years. We are the first US Air Force flying club to utilize a fleet of Piper Aircraft equipped with glass cockpit technology from Avidyne. Situated in Rio Vista, California, just outside the bustling airspace of San Francisco, is a perfect place for starting your aviation career. Our rates are very competitive with other facilities in the local area, and our highly trained instructors will make sure that you get the most out of your training. Currently we offer training for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot. We offer Private Pilot Ground School two to three times a year, and Discovery Flights all year long.
