HydroFirn: A numerical model for large-scale multidimensional firn hydrology
Observations show the multidimensional dynamics of meltwater and distribution of ice layers in the firn on the Greenland Ice Sheet. However, state-of-the-art large-scale models for firn hydrology are essentially one-dime…

Discontinuity-aware physics-informed neural network for phase-field method in three-phase flow with phase change
Physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) have been applied to simulate multiphase flows, yet they are limited in modeling phase changes and sharp interfaces due to optimization conflicts in the strongly coupled Allen-Cah…

Non-Equilibrium Phase Changes in Aircraft Exhaust: A Computational Study on Early Contrail Formation
A numerical framework is developed to model contrail formation in the near-field exhaust of aircraft engines, resolving non-equilibrium phase transitions in compressible, multi-component, non-ideal fluid flows.

A data-driven convergence booster for accelerating and stabilizing pseudo time-stepping
This paper introduces a novel data-driven convergence booster that not only accelerates convergence but also stabilizes solutions in cases where obtaining a steady-state solution is otherwise challenging.

Modifications of SPH towards three-dimensional simulations of an icy moon with internal ocean
There are some traces of the existence of internal ocean in some icy moons, such as the vapor plumes of Europa and Enceladus. This implies a region of liquid water beneath the surface ice shell.
