Whether you are an aviation professional, academia, government or industry, the challenges and difficulties facing the aviation industry now and into the future, will require: BOLD LEADERSHIP that is thoughtful, reflective, inspiring and transforming. It also requires us to manage SMART ORGANIZATIONS that are very good at strategy, policy, planning, budgeting, staffing, training, technology, and image. And it will require us to develop HEALTHY ORGANIZATIONS that excels at minimizing politics and confusion, while sustaining high morale, generating high productivity, having high engagement and making people feel safe. My message today is designed to engage, enlighten and energize you to achieve heightened and sustained levels of performance and potential in both your personal and professional life.
