Probable cause & findings

The pilot's improper recovery from a bounced landing, and improper flare, which resulted in a hard landing.

Factual narrative

"This report is based on information received by the NTSB. Additional details may be found in the NTSB's public docket for this case. For further information contact the NTSB Office of Public Inquiries." During a landing on a private sod airstrip the airplane bounced twice, and on the second touchdown the nose wheel assembly collapsed, and the airplane nosed over.
