Factual narrative

DURING THE FINAL PHASE OF THE APPROACH PROCEDURE, THE PILOT FAILED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN, SKIDDED ALONG THE RUNWAY SURFACE UNTIL IT FINALLY CAME TO REST.
