THE AIRPLANE ENGINE LOSS PWR SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF, AND THE PLT TURNED BACK TOWARD THE ARPT. THE AIRPLANE CRASHED APPROX 1200 FT SHORT OF THE RWY IN A CLEARING.
