Factual narrative

On September 5, 2012, at 1053 coordinated universal time, a Socata TB200, Portuguese registration CS-DEH, owned by CAE Global Academy of Evora and piloted by a student pilot, received substantial damage when it impacted terrain under unknown circumstances near Evora Aerodrome (LPEV), Portugal. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight originated from LPEV. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Portuguese government.
