Factual narrative
On August 17, 2015, about 1833 universal time (UTC), a Czech Republic registered Piper PA-34-220T, OK-OKD, sustained substantial damage during a go-around at the Newquay Cornwall Airport, Newquay, United Kingdom. The pilot was fatally injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of the United Kingdom.
