WHILE ON TAKEOFF INITIAL CLIMB THE RIGHT ENGINE HYDRAULIC PUMP SHAFT FAILED AND THE PILOT DID NOT RECEIVE A POSITIVE UPLOCK. THE PILOT THEN SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND DID OBTAIN A GEAR DOWN INDICATION.
