DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WAS NOT MAINTAINED BY THE PILOT IN COMMAND.
Factual narrative
WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND UNDER GUSTY, VARIABLE SURFACE WIND CONDITIONS, THE PVT PILOT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY.
