THE PILOT MADE SIX ATTEMPTS AT LANDING WITH A LEFT CROSSWIND OF 24 KNOTS. ON THE LAST ATTEMPT HE WAS OBSERVED TO LOSE CONTROL AND CRASH INTO THE TREES OFF HE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY.
