THE PILOT FAILED TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE WHICH RESULTED IN THE AIRPLANE TOUCHING DOWN SHORT OF THE INTENDED TOUCHDOWN POINT, AND COLLAPSING THE LANDING GEAR.
