Factual narrative

A LOSS OF POWER OCCURRED SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF AT ABOUT 100 FEET AGL. DUE TO OBSTACLES IN THE PILOT'S FLIGHT PATH LANDING HAD TO BE MADE IN A RIVER WHERE THE AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED.
