THE INFLIGHT ENCOUNTER WITH TURBULENT DOWNDRAFT WINDS THAT RESULTED IN A VERTICAL DESCENT FROM WHICH THE PILOT COULD NOT RECOVER WITH FULL POWER APPLIED.

Factual narrative
