Factual narrative

On May 28, 2015 about 1620 local time, a Robinson R-22 helicopter, Australian registration VH-HRW, collided with terrain near Mitchell, Queensland, Australia. The helicopter sustained substantial damage, and the pilot was fatally injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Australia.
