Probable cause & findings

The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the landing rollout, which resulted in a ground loop.

Factual narrative

The pilot of the tailwheel equipped airplane reported that during landing, the airplane bounced and when the airplane touched back down, the tail moved to the left. He applied left rudder to correct the movement, however, the airplane ground looped to the right, nosed over and came to rest inverted. The left wing sustained substantial damage.
