Introduction The purpose of this Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin is to advise operators of Piaggio Model P180 aircraft of the need to review the service bulletins listed below.

Background The Small Airplane Directorate, Aircraft Certification Service, of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) conducted a review of the specified Piaggio airplane service bulletins. The purpose of the review was to evaluate each service bulletin to determine the continued airworthiness safety aspect. The options considered by the FAA included: mandated compliance by the initiation of an FAA Airworthiness Directive (AD), various forms of notices, or no further action required.

Recommendations The service bulletins identified in this document were not considered appropriate for AD action at this time, however, the FAA strongly suggests that all operators of Piaggio Model P180 aircraft review their compliance of the service bulletins listed below.
