Observer configuration and 2.) back to the Type Certificated standard Executive configuration in accordance with Straight Flight Master Drawing List Document No. 4979-MDL-01, Revision B, dated June 15, 2010, or later FAA approved revision.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
