Install a Walter M601-E11 or M601-D11 engine and Avia V508-E-AG 106/A propeller per Cascade Aircraft Conversions Master Drawing List FW-CAC090-90 Revision B, dated August 10, 2004, and Cascade Aircraft Conversions Document FW-CAC090-12, Revision IR, dated June 2, 2004, Installation Manual for Thrush Aircraft S2R Series, Walter Turbine Installation or later FAA approved revisions to either of these documents.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
