Conversion of the lavatory water supply system from a gravity feed to a pressure system by adding a pump, a small hot water tank and control system and by replacing the single lever faucet with an infrared activated faucet with hot and cold capability in accordance with Fairchild Aircraft Drawing SATA380G0010, Water System Mod -- Hot/Cold, Revision B dated November 22, 1999, or later FAA approved revision.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
