Instructions for Continued Airworthiness for the PT6A-34, -34AG, -34B, -36, -114, -114A, -116, -135, and -135A engine models that define specific maintenance tasks and their associated maintenance schedules, and that are used as a supplement to the applicable Pratt & Whitney Canada manuals.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
