Modify -59A LPT case to reduce the thickness of four bosses to eliminate interference with the turbine case cooling manifold installed on -7Q engines. This modification permits use of the -59A LPT case on-7Q engines.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
