Installation of an Allison 250-C30M engine, an engine scavenge oil filter, a redesignated exhaust stack (RMH configuration) and engine cowling(carbon fiber), an option of deleting an auxiliary oil cooler (P/N 20006A), and a relocation of the engine ignition exciter box on the engine compartment deck.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
