In accordance with Carson Services, Inc. Report CSI-01-1001 Revision A dated August 23, 2001, increase Category B takeoff and landing altitude limit to 12,000 ft Hd. In addition, increase enroute and external load altitude limit to 14,000 ft Hd.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
