Airfilm Nose Utility Mount is designed in accordance with FAA Approved Master Drawing List, AFM-NM429-10, Revision N/C, dated August 1, 2011, install per Installation Instructions AFM-NM-006, dated October 7, 2011, operated in accordance with Airfilm s Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement AFM-NM-005, dated October 17, 2011, and maintained per Instructions for Continued Airworthiness AFM-NM-008 dated August 1, 2011, or later FAA approved revisions for all documents.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
