Installation of EMS Equipment P/N 429020-501 & 429020-502 must be in accordance with Aerolite Max Bucher GMBH Master Document List MDL-10-006, Rev. B dated April 29, 2011. This modification is required to be maintained in accordance with Aerolite Operations Manuals OPM-429020-501, Rev. A, dated March 1, 2011 & OPM-429020-502, dated January 19, 2011, respectively. EASA approved Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement FMS-429020-501, Rev. A & FMS429020-502, Rev. 0, respectively, are required with these installation.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
