B, dated July 20, 2011, or later FAA approved revision. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Helifab Inc. Document No. HF-206-ICA-2500-0002, Rev. A, dated January 13, 2011, or later revision is required for this installation.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
