The aircraft must be maintained in accordance with FAA Approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 1040676, Revision (A), dated 03 NOV 2021, or later FAA Approved Revision in addition to the basic airplane maintenance manuals.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
