Factual narrative
On March 6, 2013, about 1920 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA28-161 airplane, F-GHPN, impacted terrain during final approach to land on runway 10, at the Persan-Beaumont Airport (LFPA), near Persan, France. The pilot was fatally injured. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of France.
