Factual narrative

On May 17, 2017, at 2025 hours universal coordinated time, a Lear 25B airplane, Mexican registration XA-VMC, impacted terrain near Toluca, Mexico. The pilot-in-command and co-pilot were fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed by impact forces and a postimpact fire.The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC).
