THE ACFT COLLIDED WITH A SNOW EMBANKMENT 15 TO 20 FT SHORT OF THE RWY ON FINAL APPROACH. THE ACFT GOT LOW AND SLOW ON FINAL ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTOR AND HE BECAME CONCERNED ABOUT A HARD LANDING.
