THE ACFT RIGHT MAIN GEAR FAILED DURING TAKEOFF ROLL WHEN IT PASSED OVER AN ARRESTING CABLE. IT WAS REPORTED THAT THE TAILWHEEL WAS DAMAGED ON A PREVIOUS LANDING AT RICKENBACKER AFB WHEN IT PASSED OVER AN ARRESTING CABLE AND HAD SINCE BEEN REPLACED.
