Factual narrative

PLT FAILED TO NOTE INOPERATIVE AIRSPEED INDICATOR UNTIL WELL INTO TAKEOFF RUN. WHEN THE DEFECT WAS NOTED, TAKEOFF ABORT PROCEDURES WERE PERFORMED BUT THE ACFT CONTINUED BEYOND THE AIRPORT BOUNDARY INTO A ROUGH FIELD AND NOSED OVER.
