STUDENT PILOT EXPERIENCED UP AND DOWNDRAFTS WHILE ON APPROACH FOR LANDING AT REIGLE AIRPORT. THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING ROLL OUT, RAN OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY, AND ACROSS A GRASS FIELD.
