This Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes autopilot-coupled RNAV (GPS) approaches to LPV and LNAV/VNAV minima when there is a functioning Pilatus option radar altimeter installed and the aircraft verified to meet the requirements of Pilatus Business Aircraft Installation Instructions Document No. P25-486-007 Revision IR, dated August 15, 2011, FAA approved October 25, 2011, or later FAA approved revision.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
