Installation of an R-12 type vapor cycle air-conditioning system in accordance with Keith Products Inc. Drawing List DL-36, revision A, dated March 10, 1977, or subsequent FAA approved revision. Installation of an R-134a type vapor cycle air-conditioning system in accordance with Keith Products Inc. Master Document List DL-36-0100, revision H, dated October 20, 2000, or subsequent FAA approved revision. FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement CR-36-9, Revision A, dated April 15, 1999, or subsequent FAA approved revision, is required with this modification.

What is an STC?

A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
