Fabrication of a replacement tail rotor blade, part number 65161-00001-041MII, in accordance with Metal Innovations Master Drawing List No. MIIDoc00065, Revision B, dated February 17, 2010, or later FAA-approved revision. This is a direct replacement for part number 65161-00001-041. It has been determined that separate or additional Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and Installation Instructions are not necessary because this is a replacement part.

What is an STC?

A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
