Satellite communication system upgrade in accordance with master drawing list document 2315-B61-MDL, revision A, dated July 28, 2010, or later FAA approved revision. Airplane flight manual supplement B2315-B61-AFM, Revision IR, dated December 14, 2010, or later approved FAA revision, is required.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
